What catches the most spam

Across the analyzed submissions, link/URL density and the keyword blocklist together account for the majority of high-score flags, followed by entropy (gibberish) detection and HTML/script injection attempts. Honeypot fields catch low-effort bots before scoring even runs. CAPTCHAs catch fewer modern, LLM-generated spam submissions than heuristic + AI scoring does — which is why FormLoom runs spam scoring on by default and treats CAPTCHA as optional.
