Resend

Glossary

The email API FormLoom uses to send notification and autoresponder emails.

Definition

Resend is a developer-oriented transactional email API that handles DKIM signing, bounce tracking, and deliverability. FormLoom uses Resend to send the notification email on form submission and the autoresponder email to the submitter. When a `RESEND_API_KEY` is not configured, FormLoom logs the email payload to the console — the submission is still stored, just not emailed.

Why it matters for form backends

You don't configure Resend yourself — it's FormLoom's internal delivery layer. Just know your notification emails come from a DKIM-signed Resend domain.

FAQ

On Team plans, you can configure a custom sending domain via FormLoom's DKIM setup.
